Removable and specialized braces are used primarily in growing patients when the plan includes arch development, tooth eruption or impact on the function and relationship of the jaws. Effectiveness depends on the right starting point and regular use as recommended. Removable braces do not work, so realistic arrangements with the child and parents are important.
